There’s something inherently appealing about restaurant management games and game developers have realized that fact quite well actually. This is why there are so many games on both the Play Store the App Store which are themed on food, cooking, and management. However, they are not all great and it can be frustrating work to go through the poorly made ones before finding even one that’s worth your time. To make things easier for you, we have listed the following set of four cooking and restaurant management games that are among the best available for either of the mobile platforms.
Burger by Magma Mobile
The game might be named Burger, but you will also be serving muffins, cupcakes, ice cream, and much more. The basic idea is to fulfill orders as fast as you can, but it’s a lot more complicated than it sounds. With 300+ levels and 40 achievements to unlock, Burger is an excellent time pass that everyone who loves playing restaurant games should try out.
World Chef by Social Point
With a rating of 4.5 stars on the Google Play Store and 4.4 stars on the App Store, World Chef by Social Point has been downloaded tens of millions of time from every part of the globe. It’s not only about restaurant management but about expanding your establishment as well. The idea is pretty simple; you start small and make it big, but the execution is a whole lot of fun, thanks to the small details that you must keep track off to make progress.
Bakery Story 2 by Storm8 Studios
Dedicated exclusively to the theme of building a bakery, this is the second installment in the Bakery Story saga by Storm8 Studios and it improves upon the original in every way. Keep in mind that this is one of those games where you will have to invest a significant amount of time and make some optional purchases to progress in the game. If you want to accelerate your progress though, do check out Game Guide World for all the cheats, tricks, and useful tips you need.
My Cafe: Recipes & Stories – World Cooking Game by Meisoft Games
This one actually differs from the rest of the games in its genre by offering the player a choice between building a café, a diner, or a restaurant. A bit more complicated than some of the other games on this list, My Cafe: Recipes & Stories – World Cooking Game is also a fine business-strategy game where you will have to concentrate on your finances and decide on important decisions such as whether to expand now or concentrate on what you already have going. It’s a lot of fun and is definitely worth a download.
Honorable mentions that did not make it onto the list include Nordcurrent’s Cooking Fever, Gameone’s Cooking Chef, and Cooking Madness – A Chef’s Restaurant Games by Warsong. It is suggested that you try out as many of these as you want but stick to only one or two because these games do need some significant investment in terms of time, and maybe even some in-app purchases every once in a while.
